ITPs · Site Instructions · Labour Dockets
Your ITP register is a legal document. Treat it like one.
HoldPoint gives subcontractors and civil crews a complete, audit-ready paper trail for every project — ITPs, site instructions, and labour dockets — signed, timestamped, and stored in the cloud. No more paper forms. No more chasing sign-offs on WhatsApp.
14 days free. No credit card required.

Sound familiar?
Sound familiar?
- ITPs filled in on Word templates, then emailed as PDFs
- Sign-offs chased for days over WhatsApp
- Photos sitting on someone's phone, never making it into the record
- A variation disputed six months later — and nothing in writing
- A head contractor asking for the ITP register and it doesn't exist
Poor documentation isn't just an admin headache. For a subcontractor doing $3–15M a year, it's a direct financial risk.
Everything you need
Every site document. One quality management system.
ITPs, site instructions, and dockets all live in your company workspace — templated, numbered, signed, and archived without the folder chaos.
Master ITP templates
Build checklists, hold points, and multi-section sign-off roles once at company level. Every project imports a frozen copy — masters stay untouched.
Job-specific ITPs
Once imported into a project, ITPs become editable job instances. Add, remove, or reorder checklist items without touching the base template.
Areas that scale with the job
Structure multi-level, multi-lot, or staged projects once. Apply an ITP template to 20 levels or 40 lots in a few clicks, then send one sign-off pack per area with a combined audit-ready PDF.
Site Instructions
Issue formal directions for variations, defects, and rectifications. Auto-numbered SI-[CODE]-[SEQ], dual signatures, and a full PDF trail.
Day Labour Dockets
Record labour, plant, and materials onsite. Client signs on the spot — rate-hidden PDF is invoice-ready the moment work wraps up.
Auto-populated documents
Project metadata — client, site address, superintendent, lot/level — merges into every document automatically. No retyping headers.
Sign on site or by email
Capture signatures on mobile for field teams. External clients review and sign via a secure link — no account or app install required.
Photo-backed, PDF finished
Attach inspection photos and certificates to any checklist item. Branded PDF generated and distributed to your list on sign-off.
Built for the field
Large touch targets, readable in sunlight, fast on 4G. Supervisors complete forms between pours — not after hours at a desk.
Audit you can stand behind
Every action on every document is timestamped and recorded. When a variation is disputed or an audit comes in, you open HoldPoint and show them the record. Signed, dated, legally defensible.
Built for multi-storey & multi-lot work
Multi-level construction ITPs at scale.
High-rises, subdivisions, and staged civil jobs all run on the same handful of ITP templates — repeated across every level, lot, or chainage. HoldPoint lets you structure the project once, apply a construction ITP across the whole tree in seconds, and send a single sign-off pack per area with a combined PDF at the end.
One template → twenty levels in four clicks
Bulk-apply a master ITP template across every level, lot, stage, or chainage. Every document is named, numbered, and ready before you leave the page.
One sign-off pack per area, one combined PDF
Send Level 3 for client sign-off as a single email with every ITP, site instruction, and labour docket merged into one audit-ready PDF — not twenty.
Buildings, levels, lots, stages, chainages
Pick a project shape — multi-level, subdivision, linear civil, or staged — and the area tree builds itself. The structure matches how the job actually runs.

In plain language
What is a construction ITP?
A construction ITP — Inspection and Test Plan — is the quality-assurance document that tells a site team what to inspect, when to inspect it, who signs it off, and what evidence to keep. It defines hold points (work cannot proceed without sign-off) and witness points (a nominated party may attend), the acceptance criteria for each check, and the records — photos, test results, signatures — that make the work auditable. On large jobs the same ITP repeats across every floor, lot, or chainage; HoldPoint structures that repetition automatically.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
- An Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) is a quality assurance document used in construction to define inspection activities, hold points, and witness points at key stages of work. It specifies what needs to be checked, by whom, and records the results for audit and compliance purposes.
- A hold point is a mandatory stop in the construction process — work cannot proceed past that stage until an inspection is completed and signed off. A witness point means a nominated party should be notified and given the opportunity to observe, but work can proceed even if they're unavailable.
- Yes. HoldPoint QA sends a secure sign-off link via email. Clients, principal's representatives, or engineers can review the full ITP checklist and sign digitally — no account or app install required.
- HoldPoint QA charges $45 AUD per active project per month for your first 1–5 projects, dropping to $35 per project per month for 6 or more active projects. No per-seat fees, no per-document charges. Projects start as draft (free) until the first document is imported.
- Yes. When an ITP is approved, HoldPoint automatically generates a branded PDF containing all checklist results, inspection notes, photos, and signatures. PDFs are regenerated whenever information changes.
